This week, from July 10 – 12, the Metropolitan Council hosted the US Water Alliance One Water Summit 2018 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The US Water Alliance is a non-profit organization whose membership includes utilities, community leaders, policy organizations, and researchers. The Alliance promotes “One Water,” a growing worldwide movement to collaborate across diverse interests to manage water more holistically. Through plenary sessions, skills building institutes, interactive workshops, mobile tours, and networking, the One Water Summit 2018 focused on sustainable, integrated, and inclusive approaches to managing water.
The Metropolitan Council Environmental Services division’s predecessor was EMA’s very first client back in 1975.
